Overview

You will leave the cruise port and travel from Puerto Vallarta to Los Veranos Canopy Adventure Park Site.

This is where you will start your hiking trail through nature and experience the beauty of the region. Your walk takes you along the banks of the Horcones River with your destination the Vallarta Botanical Gardens. One of the most spectacular places in Mexico, where the country's most visited collection of orchids is located. You will enjoy being immersed amongst the colorful Mexican plants, flowers and birds.

From here you return to Los Veranos, you can purchase a hearty meal and a refreshing tropical drink at the riverside restaurant. You will experience a local tequila-tasting activity and learn all about this local drink. There are also natural pools along the river where you can jump, swim, and cool off and you can interact with the rescued animals in the Animal Sanctuary.

This tour is the perfect outdoor adventure to immerse you in Mexican nature and make this a memorable tour before returning to your cruise port.

Local currency is the Mexcian Peso (MXN) and the US dollar (USD) is widely accepted.
Bring sunscreen, a bathing suit and towel, insect repellent and wear comfortable shoes.
At times on this excursion it can get unseasonably hot, it is recommended to drink plenty of water.
Bring your fully charged camera, to capture wonderful memories on the day.
In some cases, ship time is confused with local time. Make sure you ask your purser/guest services to find out whether your ship switches to local time, to arrive at your tour on time. Each ship is different and it's necessary to check this while onboard your ship.
You must bring your prepaid Venture Ashore voucher or you will not be allowed to participate.
You will be asked to sign a waiver to participate.
This tour is not available on Christmas Day, or New Years Day.
This tour is only available on Monday and Friday, when most ships are in port.
