Overview
Experience a half-day Kuala Lumpur tour, a city of contrasts divided between historic sites and modern architecture in this guided tour. This tour will enlighten you about one of the most visited destinations in Malaysia. You will discover the most amazing culture by exploring the streets of the metropolis where hidden around every corner you will experience more and more Malaysian culture. You will be surprised by the immense temples and the impressive skyscrapers of this metropolis.
The tour will begin with a visit to the Thean Hou Temple which is dedicated to the patron Goddess Thean Hou - considered one of the biggest temples in the Malaysian Culture. As you enter the temple you can admire the immense multi-arched gateway with red pillars providing you a warm welcome into the building. The structure is a combination of elements of Taoism, Buddhism, and Confucianism which display spectacular roofs with ornate carvings.
Enjoy the walk around as you reach the main square of the city, Independence Square (Dataran Merdeka), which is known for when Malaysia declared its independence in 1957. Enjoy the historical culture and modern sights, such as the Cathedral of St Mary, Victorian Fountain, Textile Museum, and Kuala Lumpur City Gallery. You will also get the chance to view the Klang River, where you will have the opportunity to take some amazing photos at this picturesque River. You will also get the opportunity for a photo stop at the Petronas Twin Towers, where you will have some leisure time for lunch or shopping.
From here you will be taken back to the port in plenty of time for your cruise ship's departure.
