The tour will start from Mina Qaboos Port Grand Mosque. Home to truly spectacular artwork, beautiful chandeliers and a remarkable one-piece carpet covering the entirety of the prayer hall measuring approximately a stunning 4300 square meters, the grand mosque is truly a sight to behold. The Muttrah souq holds the superb 18th-century merchant’s house, and after visiting here you will then have the fantastic opportunity of shopping for an hour before moving on to the Bait Al Zubair museum. Interestingly the museum was founded as a house in 1914 making it a fascinating landmark that you would have to be mad to miss! In 1998 the house was opened as a museum and showcases many aspects of Omani culture and its heritage.

As you depart the museum you will head off to the town of Muscat and explore the old town to fort mirani which was completed in 1587. You will also visit Fort Jalali which has been renovated and is used as a museum for Omani culture and heritage.

The last part of the tour will be a stop in front of the al alam palace before driving back to the port to conclude this unforgettable tour.
