Your tour representative meets you at your cruise port, and board your private transport for this exciting half-day tour!
Delve into the islands ancient history when you visit the unique Ghar Dalam Cave and explore this huge cavern. Here you can see bones of dwarf elephants, hippopotami and other species from the Pleistocene Age, a staggering 180,000 years ago! The earliest evidence of human settlement which was over 7,000 years is also found here.
Continue onwards to the famous Blue Grotto. The grotto and neighboring system of sea caves are home to brilliant phosphorescent marine life. You can take a 25-minute boat trip that explores the incredible beauty of this natural wonder - have your cameras ready!
Ghar Lapsi is a unique and hidden little cave bay with a view over the tiny islet of Filfla. Its rocky shoreline forms a natural swimming pool with crystal clear and fantastic azure blue/green waters perfect for a quick swim. There is around a 1 hour stop to swim and enjoy the views. You can easily get in and out using ladders, although the bay is not suitable for non-swimmers. Overlooking the bay is a bar where non-swimmers can sip a cool drink whilst enjoying the scenery.

If the boat trip is canceled due to weather, we will replace it with an alternative such as Mdina or Marsaxlokk.

There is a walk from the ship to the terminal exit to meet your representative, which may be difficult for guests with mobility issues (private transportation is not permitted to enter near the ship).

Dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes.

Wear your swimwear, bring your beach towel and change of clothing for optional swimming.
