Overview

Join your small group and driver and see the Wellington Waterfront and travel up Mt Victoria to the Mt Victoria Lookout for stunning 360 degree views of Wellington city and it's picturesque harbour.

Leaving the city behind you will enjoy a coastal drive around Oriental Bay one of the city's suburbs, and Evans Bay Parades. A quick stop at the Wellington Blow Away Sign, and from there visit the famous Weta Cave Shop - if you are a movie fan, this is an exciting visit as the hub of Weta Studio Tours in Miramar.

Have fun in this creative store, capture photos at the life-sized sculptures, and you will feel like you are in a movie set as you wander through the mini museum, and watch the documentary.

Enjoy your tours coastal theme, passing through scenic Shelly Bay and the picturesque Miramar Peninsula before stopping at a seaside cafe or restaurant for lunch - this includes a main and a drink.

After lunch there is a short stop at the Wahine Memorial Park before you explore the south Wellington coast, Taputarenga Marine Reserve and Te Kopahou Reserve Visitors Center.

Leaving the coast behind, you travel back to the city via the Brooklyn Wind Turbine - known for its incredible views before a return to the city for the downtown sights.

This includes an optional ride in the famous Wellington Cable Car (tickets not included) and a look at the Lady Norwood Rose Gardens with a walk through the Botanical Gardens.

Your last stop is Old St. Paul’s Cathedral, dating back to 1856, discover its stained glass windows and the hardwood timber.

You will be dropped off at your cruise port at the end of the tour.
