Overview
After departing from Ushuaia City and traveling approximately 7 miles (11km) to the west, you'll arrive at Tierra del Fuego National Park. The park is crossed by many rivers that flow into the Beagle Channel and contains beautiful lakes and forests. Trees that change their colors into red, yellow, and orange in March and April offer a splendid sight.
This unique park is filled with a dense green forest of lengas, ñires, and cohiues trees and boasts many lakes, lagoons, and rivers. Our first stop will be at the Train of the End of the World station where you will be able to take an optional shared train ride (additional costs apply).
Continue visiting the park, and get to know the sub Antarctic forest covering the Andes slopes. Stop at Ensenada Bay. The Acigami lake, the view point at the Laguna Verde and the legendary end of the Pan-American highway at the Lapataia Bay. Your local guide will point out the local flora and fauna. During the visit, you will get to discover different trails (access is subject to weather conditions).
